This afternoon finally I walked through all paths in Volkspark, a park near my apartment. Silly that all this time I only went through that park when I want to go to the bus stop next to it. Although maybe it would be nicer to go there and spend some moments in spring or summer, the mystery of cold winter is still oke……

Friday, January 30th, 2009For me today is the official end of 2nd quartile for my master study here in University of Twente. Its been a very challenging quartile since I took 4 courses which theoretically people said its not suggested. Even I have 5 exams this week since I need to re-take one course’ exam from 1st quartile. So, do I feel enough with abnormal tight schedule and lots of assignments? Seems like not. I’ll try to take another 4 courses for next quartile which eventually will start next monday. So am I really that good?
Actually I’m not good at all at this. I just want to finish all courses as soon as possible. ‘Bersakit-sakit dahulu, bersenang-senang kapan-kapan‘. Many life lessons that I learned from this quartile that I would like to improve and prevent for next ones. Wish me luck….and lets just take some relaxing time 
Anti-Virus Terbaik: Ubah Pola Penggunaan Komputer
Saturday, January 24th, 2009Tadi waktu dalam perjalanan ke kampus untuk ngambil sepeda, seorang teman gw menelpon dan menanyakan apakah gw ada software Anti-Virus atau ngga. Dia sendiri sih sudah pasang AVG-Free Edition di komputernya tapi tetap saja kena musibah. Yah more or less gw bersedia membantu dengan memasangkan software anti-virus yang disediakan oleh kampus.
Sebenarnya gak ada software anti virus yang 100% bisa menangkal komputer kita dari serangan ’si jahat’ dan ’si nakal’. Pola perilaku dan kebiasaan kita lah yang bisa menangkal itu semua. Software anti virus hanya bersifat membantu saja. Jadi gak jaminan juga meski kita punya license resmi sebuah software Anti Virus maka komputer kita sudah pasti aman, Terbukti beberapa waktu yang lalu gw sendiri kebobolan juga….meski gak parah. Yah pada akhirnya semua kembali ke pola penggunaan komputer kita kok.

Yah gw sih ngerti banget kalau pemasukan terbesar situs-situs seperti ini adalah dari iklan. Tapi apakah emang harus mengganggu kenyamanan para pembacanya? Emang sih ada yang bilang bahwa semakin besar iklannya kan semakin gampang mencari tombol ‘skip‘-nya. Tapi jujur ajah buat gw pribadi sih model iklan begini sangat mengganggu. CNN.com yang notabene situs berita juga kayaknya lebih elegan tuh dalam hal penataan iklannya. Ini mungkin yah trade-off yang mesti diambil antara pendapatan dan kenyamanan pengunjung situs Internet.
Happy Being Infected
Friday, January 16th, 2009Probably I’m one of the weird person in this world when my computer is infected by some malicious program. Yes, but I really cannot help it. Happy that there are not much damage caused by it (at least until now), and the real thing is that happy because its already quiet long time I haven’t faced this anymore.
Yes, I’m using Windows XP now…..so that’s why I really need to face it since it should be a common thing when you use this Operating System. So, now I can declare myself that I’m normal
